When switching from a dual-monitor setup to a single screen, some application windows may remain "hidden" on the disconnected secondary display. Here are two easy ways to bring them back:
Method 1: Use Keyboard Shortcuts to Move the Window
- Open the invisible program but don’t click anything.
- Press Alt + Space, then press M (stands for "Move").
- Use the arrow keys (typically left or right) to shift the window back to the visible area.
- After a few seconds, the window should reappear on your main screen.
- Confirm by clicking or pressing Enter.
Method 2: Use Win + P to Reset Display Mode
- Press Win + P to open the projection menu.
- First select Extend, then switch to PC screen only.
- This will force all windows to relocate to the main display.
